Exeter Trade Aluminium started manufacturing in March 2015. Initially focusing on aluminium lift and slide sliding doors using the Reynaers profile.
In May 2017 after out-growing the manufacturing space at our sister company’s premises, we moved to our current factory and showroom at 15 Apple Lane, Sowton.
There we had the factory floor and mezzanine purpose built to suit our needs – allowing us to expand our offering, and giving us the space to stock £250,000 worth of profile in order to offer fast lead times.
We continually invested in state-of-the-art technology and tools in the factory, which ensures high-precision accuracy, high-performance, and efficiency. Operated by highly trained craftsmen ensuring that we produce high quality, accurate products, the first time.
Sat right next door to our factory is our Exeter showroom. With an extensive range of high-performance aluminium glazing products on display, including our lift & slide doors, bi-folding doors, entrance doors, casement windows and tilt and turn windows.
Allowing you and your customers to come and experience our products first hand, ensuing you choose the right product for your project.
Open to both the trade and the general public.
Whilst visiting the showroom, if you would like to see how your doors and windows will be made, we will happily give you a tour of the factory.
The management team here at Exeter Trade Aluminium have years of experience behind them.
Our technically minded General Manager has been in the glazing industry for 20 years. Primarily focusing on aluminium architectural glazing and working closely with Installers.
Our Technical Operations Manager has been working with glazing throughout his 25 year career. He is constantly developing his extensive knowledge of aluminum fabrication and systems, and genuinely loves what he does.
The Trade Sales Development Manager has over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry. With many of those years being focused on doors and windows. Representing some of the biggest names in the industry, including AluK.
Lastly our Factory Manager, has nearly 15 years industry experience. He is detail oriented and ensures that our aluminium windows and doors are produced to consistently meet our quality and lead-time standards.
The team will happily share their industry knowledge with you, helping you and your customers to choose the right products for the project.
Once your windows and doors are ready, they can either be collected from our Exeter factory if you are nearby, or we can deliver directly to site to suit your installation schedule, and ready for you to install.
We deliver across the South West, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
We work with two leading system houses – the designers behind the products – Reynaers and AluK. Both of which are well known for their high-quality aluminium glazing products. Our team fabricate a range of Reynaers lift & slide doors and windows, and AluK bi-folding doors and windows.
